I was born and raised in Kamloops, and public education has shaped every stage of my life. My mother was a teacher in this district, I attended school here from kindergarten through Grade 12, and today my own children are students in the same schools that helped shape who I am.
Because of these deep roots, I care about the future of our schools and the opportunities available to every student. I believe education is one of the most important investments we make as a society. Not only in our children, but in the strength and success of our entire community.

Financial literacy is an essential life skill. By helping students understand budgeting, saving, credit, and responsible decision-making, we can better prepare them for independence and success after graduation.

Students need more than technology—they need the skills to think critically, recognize misinformation, use AI responsibly, and stay safe online.

The world is changing faster than ever. Along with strong academics, students need critical thinking, adaptability, creativity, and resilience. I want to help ensure every graduate leaves our schools ready to succeed, no matter what the future brings.

A Big Part Of Our Community
Sean is a big part of the Kamloops community and has donated his time to Kamloops United Football Club, the Beattie Elementary PAC, and several community clean-up events.
Sean has also been a financial supporter of groups like the Kamloops Wildlife Park, The Big Little Science Centre, Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks, Kamloops Arts Council, and The Sun Peaks Recreational Trail Association.
Sean has always had a passion for writing, and he's used it to celebrate the achievements of local athletes by sharing their inspiring stories through children's books. By highlighting their perseverance, character, and success, he has helped give young readers local role models they can look up to while showcasing the incredible talent that comes from our community.
